walking. By the way the street was poopdeck street. I'm not kidding ,you could google it! We were walking on this beautiful path lined with lupine, I really wish you could smell it , anyway we kept thinking we would see a bear or come across a bull moose but instead we came across two young guys smoking pot in the woods! Yep you can smoke it you just can't buy or sell it. I was thinking that I hoped the wild animals don't get too stoned! Ha ha . We decided to get off the path as it was going deeper into the forest, so we diverted our walk to a road. Well we woke up every dog in the neighborhood and they all came running out to sniff Sophie , I think she must have been thinking how can we get out of here! There were at least 4 that came right up to her and about 10 more that wanted to! There are laws against that in CT but this is Alaska!
No moose no bears today just dogs!
We also had quite a scare earlier at the campground ! They were testing the emergency warning horns! Oh goodness jumped outta my skin!
We have really relaxed a lot this week although Sunday we took a ferry to Seldovia. It was interesting but a bit boring, not much to do so we walked and walked.
Our neighbors gave us fresh halibut last night! It was awesome!
Just really relaxing here in Homer! Waiting on some visitors the next few weeks!
